A new home in the Irish countryside for a young family looking to put roots down in the area.

We have designed a new home arranged as three distinct single-storey forms connected with a generous axial corridor. The home is oriented to make the most of the views to the surrounding countryside to the south and to frame views with the corridors and windows. The form borrows from the low-lying agricultural aesthetic of the surrounding barns with a pitched roof to create dramatic vaulted interiors in the living spaces of the home.
